· Please! Always pick up after your pets! Did you know that animal waste from pets can pollute our waters? When left on the ground, pet waste is washed by rain into storm drains that carry it to our rivers, lakes, ocean and drinking water. Animal waste contains a high concentration of bacteria and disease causing microorganisms that can cause health concerns. Galloway Township has adopted a state-mandated law that requires pet owners to immediately and properly dispose of their pet’s solid waste from any public or private property not owned or possessed by that person. This means all dog walkers must be prepared to dispose of their dog’s waste by immediately picking it up, wrapping it (have plastic bag ready), and either placing it in the trash or flushing it (unwrapped) down the toilet. Since the BHP walking paths are on public and private property, this law always applies. Any questions about the Township’s Ordinance call 652-3700 x255. Finally, please do not walk your pets in the playground area. We don't want doggie stuff where small people play. Please remind others you see in the area. · HOA Board Reminder on Yard/Garage Sales - The BHP HOA board would like to remind all residents that Yard/Garage sales are not permitted at BHP, primarily for neighborhood security reasons. Residents are encouraged to participate in the local fire department, Galloway Township, etc., community yard sale events.
