Hello everyone. It's hard to believe that it is already September. As usual, the summer is going by quickly.
Waste Management, by their own admission, had some internal problems that they are working on. They have hired new drivers and are trying to bring them up to speed. The problems last month put them very behind and they are still trying to catch up. Their rep has promised to reduce our bill to compensate for the discomfort they have caused. The bottom line is that they charge about $11.00 per house per month. The nearest competitor is about $35.00 per month. So I think it is in BHP's best interest to work through this with them.
As I am writing, I am looking forward to the Hawaiian Pool Party. I am certain that it will be a fun event. Thanks to all who made it happen, especially Annette Pasquarello, who authored the survey and suggested several events, the residents who responded to the survey, and last but certainly not least, the BHP HOA Recreation Committee who work tirelessly to bring us these wonderful events. We also have the Labor Day party to look forward to. Please try to attend these wonderful events and meet your neighbors.
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
We are trying to garner interest in a community bowling night. Strike Zone Lanes in Egg Harbor CIty has "Wacky Wednesdays" for only $2.00 per game. We are planning the first get together for September 7th. This is a fun afternoon of bowling--not a league--open for anyone who wants to join and get a little exercise. Time will be determined aster we have the number of residents interested. Please contact Laurie Kennedy at email@example.com
